Has plenty of quality references and tools for a writer

I downloaded the limited version, and I quickly saw that I would want the full version. So, I bought and downloaded it. So far, Ive been impressed. I like the fact that I came use the iPhone app Voice Memo and NotePad all in one. Very convenient. I also like that my Thesaurus and rhyming apps are all in one place, as well.

This is the absolute best tool for a songwriter to have! Other than great ideas and rhyming schemes. But not only does Songwriters Pad organize all of your songs and ideas, it GIVES you more ideas to help you write songs! If you have an idea but you just cant find the right word to go with the line, Songwriters Pad will give you just the right word you need to write the best music you can.

Just finished writing my first song with songwriter pad & overall Id say it went smooth & really easy to lay my lyrics down. There needs to be some improvement like centering layout on their computer version & printing needs to be centered. Also the font size needs to have larger options. But these r all improvement ideas to help make writing a song easier on here. Overall it is the Best songwriting app on here b/c bring able to sync my song across my iphone 5, imac & pc works quick & easy after you setup & account. Get this soon if youre a songwriter-its a good tool!

I read the reviews on the AP and gave it a try. Very disappointed with all the bugs. Uploading to cloud rarely works. Editing songs on iPad would only let me edit the last song and not any others. Love the idea and concept of being able to edit between devices but so far it rarely works as advertised. Hope you guys can get it right...

I wish I could give this app 5 stars, but I cant. Its setup to be a great app, but has some major and very frustrating issues. It deletes (or forgets?) lyrics! Example, I just wrote a verse, pc, and chorus. Decided to email a copy to my cowriter... It deleted the last 3 lines of my chorus! That cannot happen! This also seems to happen when I upload songs to cloud and download on a different device. I want to keep using this app, because of all the great features, but this is an absolute deal breaker. I shouldnt have to worry about whether my lyrics are being saved or not. I hope that this is an issue they are aware of and will fix in the future. In the meantime, Ill use my clunky laptop and MasterWriter. Please fix this issue.

Pretty solid lets hope they keep polishing and extending it Comments: it would be amazing if you could record a section of a song, see the waveform and edit the beginning:end points by dragging your fingers. Similar to how the camera app lets you "trim" video. Then consolidate your sample and loop it.

You upgraded and I lost all my lyrics

It shuts down randomly & loses a lot of my raps. It also should be a auto save feature after every word because its little bit inconvenient to save the text when something random happens (phone calls, accidentally hitting the home button etc.) But besides that the app is great

You will lose your songs at done point while trying to upload to iCloud better make sure you sync with drop box instead other that that its a really cool song. I lost 2 songs thankfully I remembered one and emailed a friend the second like I said almost a 5

This is a very easy and useful app!

Great app. Good sharing capabilities with text email & Dropbox. Can organize ideas nicely. The only thing missing: in recording mode, I would like more of a visual... kinda like apple gives with their voice memo app. It would be nice to "see" the phone audio input as you record.

This app needs a zoom in zoom out feature An automatic scroll feature With a built-in voice to text feature Like dragon Does. when a song is created it would be nice Get phrases and metaphors As suggestions based on the title of the song So you can get your songs done a lot more faster and a lot more efficiently. this app as well really needs a Better and bigger database and a bigger and better Thesaurus, Thank you that would be greatly appreciated.

Please add the ability to connect to the copyright office to copyright a just finished song. Do this and were in love : )

Just wrote a great song. Got the lyrics down. Went to record voice. After i stopped the recording it crashed!!! losing all my work. Thats unacceptable. It could of been a hit song. Thanks a lot songwriter.

This app is everything i could ask for. Except it crashes quite a bit and im always afraid of losing verses. Also the custom block doesnt work, the keyboard wont open

I have used this app to compose my last release (My Work Pages). It does a nice job of organizing structure while helping to write concisely. The built in thesaurus is a nice touch as well as the rhyming dictionary.

This app has a horrible menu interface. It crashes a lot. Even when doing regular things like navigating.
